Fixed Price Turn-up (FPTU) refers to a type of pre-paid airtime pricing where you pay a set fee for a fixed period of time and get unlimited calls and text messages with the exception of premium rate numbers. For example, you may pay £20 upfront for a FPTU that is valid for a week.
These are most common with mobile (cell) phone services in the United Kingdom. They differ from regular pay as you go airtime in that calls, texts, and possibly even data are typically offered truly without extra charge until the time runs out.
