1. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position and leave it there for 15 minutes.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "Off" position and remove it from the ignition.
3. Wait 60 seconds.
4. Reinsert the ignition key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position.
5. The theft deterrent system should be reset.
