- Check the airbag sensors. The airbag sensors are located in the front and rear bumpers, as well as in the side doors. If any of these sensors are damaged, the airbag light will not go off.
- Check the airbag module. The airbag module is located under the center console. If the airbag module is damaged, the airbag light will not go off.
- Check the airbag wiring. The airbag wiring is located under the dashboard and in the door panels. If any of the airbag wiring is damaged, the airbag light will not go off.
- Check the battery. If the battery is low, the airbag light may not go off.
- Check the fuses. There are several fuses that control the airbag system. If any of these fuses are blown, the airbag light will not go off.
