* New brake light bulb
* Socket wrench set
* Phillips head screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Park your Nissan Hardbody Pickup on a level surface and apply the parking brake. Turn on the hazard lights for safety.
2. Locate the rear brake light assembly. The rear brake lights on the 1994 Nissan Hardbody Pickup are located on either side of the tailgate, just above the rear bumper.
3. Remove the screws holding the brake light assembly in place. There are usually two screws on each side, one at the top and one at the bottom. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove these screws.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector to rear brake light bulb socket by twisting and pulling it off the socket.
5. Replace the old bulb. Remove the old bulb by gently twisting it counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb by gently twisting it clockwise until it is secure.
6. Reattach the electrical connector to the new brake light bulb socket.
7. Replace the brake light assembly. Place the brake light assembly on the tailgate, making sure the screws align with the holes. Start the screws by hand and tighten them using a socket wrench.
8. Test the brake lights. Turn on the hazard lights and press the brake pedal. The new brake lights should illuminate properly.
