1. New ignition coil
2. Ratchet
3. Extension
4. Socket set
5. Spark plug wrench
6. Dielectric grease
Instructions:
1. Turn the engine off and allow it to cool: Allow the engine to cool down completely before working on the coil to prevent burns.
2. Locate the ignition coils: Ignition coils are usually located on top of the engine. They are cylindrical in shape and have a spark plug wire attached to each one.
3. Disconnect the spark plug wires: Use a spark plug wrench to loosen and remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils.
4. Remove the ignition coils: Use the ratchet, extension, and socket set to remove the bolts holding the ignition coils in place.
5. Apply dielectric grease to the contact surface: Apply a thin coat of dielectric grease to the contact surface of the new ignition coils to ensure a good electrical connection.
6. Install the new ignition coils: Hand-tighten the new ignition coils until they are snug. Then, use the ratchet and socket set to tighten them securely.
7. Reconnect the spark plug wires: Reconnect the spark plug wires to the ignition coils. Ensure they are firmly attached to prevent any issues with electrical connections.
8. Test the engine: Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any signs of misfiring or engine performance issues.
