If the stability control system or ABS in your vehicle malfunctions, the VDC Off light turns on continuously without blinking and the VSC, TRAC, or Vehicle Stability Control system is inactive. Although you can continue to drive the vehicle while this light is on, you should have the vehicle properly serviced as soon as possible for safety concern. However, if the VDC Off light blinks, stop driving and consult with your dealer at once (page 7).
