Can you purchase a car with expired or suspended license and no insurance?

It is not possible to legally purchase a car with an expired or suspended license. In most states, you must have a valid driver's license in order to purchase and register a car. Additionally, most dealerships and private sellers will require proof of insurance before they will sell you a car. Without insurance, you are not legally allowed to drive a car on public roads.
