Who invented motor bus?

The first self-propelled passenger bus service is generally acknowledged to have been opened in 1895 by the German inventor Karl Benz in Siegen, Germany. Although Benz himself called the vehicle a "large omnibus" and its seating capacity is not known, it is frequently asserted to have had about eight seats.
