Prepare the wires:
Measure the length of the wire needed for each amp.
Cut the wires to the desired lengths, leaving some extra slack for flexibility.
Strip the ends of the wires to expose the copper wire strands.
Installing Battery Terminal Connectors
Crimp battery terminal connectors onto the ends of the wires.
Make sure the connectors are securely crimped and fit tightly onto the battery terminals.
Connect Positive Terminals:
Select a suitable ground point in the car chassis near one of the amps.
Prepare the ground point by scraping away any paint or rust to ensure a good electrical connection.
Connect the positive terminal of one wire to the positive terminal of the battery using the installed battery terminal connector.
Connect the positive terminal of the second wire to the positive terminal of the second amp using another battery terminal connector.
Ground the Amplifiers:
Connect the negative terminal of the first amp to the selected ground point using a ground terminal connector.
Connect the negative terminal of the second amp to the same ground point using a separate ground terminal connector.
Securing the Wires:
Use zip ties or other cable management solutions to secure the wires safely and neatly.
Avoid running the wires near moving parts or sources of heat.
Fuse the Wires:
Consider installing an appropriate fuse holder and fuse on each power wire near the battery.
Select fuse ratings suitable for the power handling capacity of the amps.
Test and Verify:
Turn on the car audio system and test the amplifiers to ensure they are receiving power and functioning properly.
Double-check all connections and ensure they are tight and secure.
By following these steps, you can run two power wires from the battery to different areas of the car without using a distribution block.
