1. Open the hood of your 2009 Chevy Traverse.
2. Locate the battery on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. It is held down with a plastic cover.
4. Remove the plastic cover by pressing down on the tabs and lifting it off.
5. The battery is now accessible.
