1. Open the hood of the vehicle and support it with a prop rod.
2. Locate the battery on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. The battery is held in place with a hold-down clamp. Remove the hold-down clamp to access the battery.
4. Disconnect the negative (-) cable first, followed by the positive (+) cable.
5. Remove the battery from the vehicle.
