1. Press the small button on the side of the key fob to release the emergency key.
2. Pull the emergency key out of the fob.
3. Use the emergency key to pry open the back cover of the key fob.
4. Remove the old battery from the key fob.
5. Insert the new battery into the key fob, making sure that the positive (+) side of the battery is facing up.
6. Snap the back cover of the key fob back into place.
7. Test the key fob to make sure that it is working properly.

* Make sure that the battery is the correct type for your key fob.
