The E46 has two fuse boxes, one located in the engine bay and the other in the glove box.
Fuse Box in Engine Bay
To access the fuse box in the engine bay, open the hood and look on the passenger side of the engine compartment near the windshield washer fluid reservoir. The fuse box will be covered with a black plastic cover.
Fuse Box in Glove Box
To access the fuse box in the glove box, open the glove box and look on the left side. The fuse box will be covered with a black plastic cover.
Removing Fuse Box Covers
To remove the fuse box covers, simply pry them off with your fingers.
Fuse Box Diagrams
The fuse box diagrams are located on the inside cover of each fuse box.
Replacing a Fuse
If a fuse needs to be replaced, use the fuse puller located on the inside cover of the fuse box.
