1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
3. Remove the passenger side front wheel.
4. Remove the plastic inner fender liner.
5. Remove the coolant hoses from the heater core.
6. Remove the four bolts holding the heater core case to the firewall.
7. Carefully pry the heater core case away from the firewall.
8. Remove the heater core from the case.
9. Inspect the heater core for leaks or damage.
10. If the heater core is damaged, replace it with a new one.
11. Reinstall the heater core in the reverse order of removal.
12. Fill the radiator with coolant and reconnect the battery.
13. Start the engine and check for leaks.
