Here's how to change a front passenger turn signal light bulb or headlight on a Mercedes-Benz C240:

Turn Signal Light Bulb Replacement

1. Locate the turn signal bulb. It's located behind the front passenger headlight assembly, next to the daytime running light bulb.

2. Remove the access cover. There's a small, circular access cover on the back of the headlight assembly. Use a screwdriver to pry it off.

3. Remove the bulb. Once the access cover is off, you'll see the turn signal bulb. Twist it counterclockwise to remove it.

4. Install the new bulb. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it.

5. Replace the access cover. Put the access cover back on and press it firmly until it snaps into place.

Headlight Replacement

1. Locate the headlight. The headlight is located behind the front passenger turn signal light.

2. Remove the access cover. Open the hood of your car and remove the plastic access cover located on the back of the headlight assembly.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector. Find the electrical connector attached to the back of the headlight bulb and disconnect it. It may have a locking tab that you need to press down to disconnect it.

4. Remove the dust cover. There's a dust cover that fits over the headlight bulb. Rotate it counterclockwise to remove it.

5. Remove the headlight bulb. Once the dust cover is off, you can remove the headlight bulb by turning it counterclockwise.

6. Install the new headlight bulb. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it.

7. Replace the dust cover. Install the dust cover over the new bulb and turn it clockwise to secure it.

8. Reconnect the electrical connector. Reconnect the electrical connector that you disconnected in step 3.

9. Replace the access cover. Put the access cover back on and press it firmly until it snaps into place.

Make sure to safely dispose of the old bulbs. Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before performing any electrical work on your vehicle. If you're not comfortable performing this task, it's best to have it done by a qualified mechanic.
