- Spark plug socket (5/8-inch)
- Spark plug wrench
- Jack and jack stands
- Ratchet
- Extension
Instructions:
1. Park your Blazer on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Jack up your Blazer and support it with jack stands.
4. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs by pulling them straight off.
5. Use the spark plug socket to remove the old spark plugs.
6. Screw in the new spark plugs by hand until they are snug.
7. Use the spark plug wrench to tighten the spark plugs.
8. Reconnect the spark plug wires to the spark plugs.
9. Lower your Blazer and remove the jack stands.
You have now successfully changed the spark plugs on your 2001 Chevy Blazer.
