- A ratchet
- A 10mm socket
- A flathead screwdriver
- A pair of pliers
Once you have gathered your tools, follow these steps:
1. Open the hood of your car and locate the clutch master cylinder. It is usually located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.
2. Use the pliers to remove the cotter pin that holds the clutch pedal clevis in place.
3. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry the clevis off of the clutch master cylinder pushrod.
4. Use the ratchet and 10mm socket to turn the clutch master cylinder adjuster nut until the clutch pedal is at the desired height.
5. Replace the clevis on the clutch master cylinder pushrod and secure it with the cotter pin.
6. Close the hood of your car.
The clutch pedal height should now be adjusted correctly.
