1. Locate the water outlet housing on the front of the engine, towards the top-right corner. It's a cylindrical housing that connects the upper radiator hose to the engine.
2. Remove the two bolts that secure the water outlet housing to the engine.
3. Carefully lift the water outlet housing off the engine, taking care not to spill any coolant.
4. The thermostat is located inside the water outlet housing, held in place by a spring clip.
5. Remove the thermostat from the water outlet housing by gently prying it out with a flat-head screwdriver.
