1. Park your Mustang in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Engage the parking brake to prevent the car from rolling.
2. Locate the license plate bulbs.
The license plate bulbs are located on the underside of the rear bumper, just above the license plate. There are two bulbs, one on each side.
3. Remove the old bulbs.
To remove the old bulbs, simply twist them counterclockwise and pull them out.
4. Insert the new bulbs.
To insert the new bulbs, simply push them into the sockets and turn them clockwise until they are snug.
5. Test the new bulbs.
Turn on the headlights and make sure that the new license plate bulbs are working.
Here are some additional tips:
* Use gloves when handling the bulbs to avoid leaving fingerprints.
* Be careful not to drop the bulbs. If a bulb breaks, it can cause damage to your car's paint.
* If you have trouble removing the old bulbs, you can use a pair of pliers to gently pry them out.
* If you have any questions, consult your Mustang's owner's manual.
