Location of battery in 1992 BMW 318i?

The battery in a 1992 BMW 318i is located in the trunk, on the left-hand side. To access the battery, open the trunk and remove the carpet on the left side. The battery will be located under the carpet, held in place by a metal bracket. To remove the battery, simply loosen the metal bracket and disconnect the negative and positive terminals.
