1. Press the release button on the smart key.
2. Gently pull the key out of its housing.
3. Gently pry open the battery cover on the back of the key using a small flat-head screwdriver.
4. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new battery of the same type, ensuring the positive and negative terminals are aligned correctly.
5. Replace the battery cover and press it firmly into place.
6. Slide the key back into its housing until you hear a click.
Your Audi A6 key should now be ready to use with the new battery.
