The Bugatti Veyron is a mid-engine sports car, designed and developed by the Bugatti Automobiles SAS. It was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008, and entered production in September of the same year. The car was named after the racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1939.
