- 8mm socket

- 10-inch socket extension
- 6-inch socket extension
- Glow plugs
- Thread sealant
- Torque wrench
Instructions:
1. Allow the engine to cool down completely before beginning.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the engine cover.
4. Locate the glow plug module on the rear of the cylinder head.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the glow plug module.
6. Remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the glow plug module in place.
7. Remove the glow plug module.
8. Unscrew the glow plugs using an 8mm socket and ratchet.
9. Clean the glow plug wells with a brush.
10. Apply a small amount of thread sealant to the new glow plugs.
11. Hand-tighten the glow plugs until they are snug.
12. Tighten the glow plugs to 20 ft-lbs using a torque wrench.
13. Reinstall the glow plug module and the electrical connectors.
14. Reinstall the engine cover.
15. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
16. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
Note: If any of the glow plugs are damaged or broken, they must be replaced.
