Here are the instructions for the Power Winch Model 4941:

Read, thoroughly understand, and observe all Safety, Electrical, and General Instructions before operating this product.

IMPORTANT SAFETY

1. Wear safety glasses during use.

2. Do not wear gloves or loose clothing.

3. Do not leave the winch unattended when it is under load.

4. Do not yank the rope from the winch when it is under tension.

5. Do not allow damaged or tangled rope to pass through the fairlead.

6. Do not use the winch without the fairlead and hook in place.

7. Do not stand in front of or next to the winch while it is in use.

8. Do not pull loads greater than the rated capacity.

9. Do not use the winch to lift or move people.

10. Inspect wire rope on a regular basis and replace the wire rope as necessary.

11. The battery charger and controller must be connected prior to connecting power.

12. All electrical circuits should be properly secured.

13. All power sources must be grounded.

ASSEMBLY

1. Mount the winch onto a level, stable surface.

2. Feed the wire rope through the fairlead.

3. Tie a knot in the end of the wire rope and secure it to the hook

4. Plug controller cord into the winch and connect the AC cord to the ground power source.

OPERATION

To raise or lower the winch:

1. Press the “Up” or “Down” button on the controller.

2. Release the button when you reach the desired height.

MAINTENANCE

1. Inspect the wire rope frequently and replace it as needed.

2. Clean the fairlead and hook regularly to remove dirt and debris.

3. Lubricate the winch gears with a light machine oil.

4. Store the winch in a cool, dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the winch does not operate, check the following:

1. Make sure that the controller cord is properly plugged into the winch.

2. Check the AC cord and make sure that it is properly plugged into the ground power source.

3. Check the circuit breakers and fuses and make sure that they are not tripped or blown.

4. Check the battery connections of the battery and make sure that they are clean and tight.
