I have a 2005 polaris sportsman 90 it will not crank. turn over just i put new spark plug. what can check next?

Here are a few things you can check to troubleshoot why your 2005 Polaris Sportsman 90 ATV will not crank:

- Battery:

- Check the battery terminals and ensure they are clean and tight.

- Use a multimeter to check the battery voltage. It should be around 12.6 volts when fully charged.

- If the battery is low, charge it or replace it.

- Starter:

- Check the starter solenoid and ensure it is functioning properly.

- If the starter solenoid is not working, replace it.

- Fuel:

- Check the fuel level and ensure there is enough gas in the tank.

- Check the fuel line and ensure it is not kinked or blocked.

- Check the carburetor and ensure it is clean and free of debris.

- Spark Plug:

- Ensure that the spark plug is properly gapped and installed.

- If the spark plug is faulty, replace it.

- Compression:

- Check the engine compression. It should be around 100 psi.

- If the compression is low, there may be a problem with the piston, piston ring, or valves.

- Electrical:

- Check the wiring harness and ensure there are no loose or broken connections.

- Check the ignition switch and ensure it is functioning properly.

- Timing:

- Check the engine timing and ensure it is set correctly.

- If the timing is off, adjust it.
