2. Remove the oil pan plug and drain the oil from the engine.
3. Remove the oil filter.
4. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter. Screw the new oil filter onto the engine until it is snug.
5. Replace the oil pan plug. Tighten the plug until it is snug.
6. Add new oil to the engine. Use the amount of oil specified in your owner's manual.
7. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
8. Check the oil level to make sure it is full.
9. Dispose of the old oil and filter properly.
Tips
* Use a funnel to add oil to the engine to prevent spills.
* Be careful not to overfill the engine with oil. This can cause damage to the engine.
* Change the oil in your motorcycle regularly according to the recommendations in your owner's manual.
