- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
-10 mm wrench
- Pliers
Step 2: Remove the seat lock.
The seat lock is located under the front of the seat. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding it in place. Once the screws are removed, use the pliers to pull the seat lock out of the seat.
Step 3: Remove the seat hinge pins.
The seat hinge pins are located on either side of the seat, just below the seat lock. Use the 10 mm wrench to loosen the nuts that hold the pins in place. Once the nuts are loosened, use the flathead screwdriver to pry the pins out of the seat.
Step 4: Remove the seat.
Once the hinge pins are removed, the seat can be lifted off the bike. Be careful not to drop the seat, as it is quite heavy.
Step 5: Reinstall the seat.
To reinstall the seat, simply reverse the steps you took to remove it. Make sure that the hinge pins are properly seated in the holes before tightening the nuts.
Step 6: Test the seat.
Once the seat is reinstalled, sit on it and make sure that it is secure. If the seat feels loose, tighten the nuts on the hinge pins further.
