How do you remove the fuel tank on a 1976 Goldwing GL-1000?

To remove the fuel tank on a 1976 Goldwing GL-1000, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the fuel tank is empty or as low as possible.

2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Remove the seat by removing the two bolts that hold it in place.

4. Remove the two bolts that hold the fuel tank in place at the rear of the tank.

5. Disconnect the fuel line and the vent hose from the fuel tank.

6. Remove the fuel tank from the motorcycle by lifting it straight up.

Note: Be careful when removing the fuel tank not to spill any fuel.
