For every 1 gallon (3.78 liters) of gasoline, add 2.6 ounces (76 ml) of two-stroke engine oil.
For example:
- 2 gallons of gasoline mixed with 5.2 oz. of oil
- 5 gallons of gasoline mixed with 13 oz. of oil
- 10 gallons of gasoline mixed with 26 oz. of oil
Important notes
- Always pre-mix the gasoline and oil in a separate container before adding it to the fuel tank.
- Use two-stroke engine oil specifically formulated for motorcycles and not automobile oil.
- Do not use an oil-injection system if you are pre-mixing the fuel and oil.
- This fuel mixture is recommended for the stock RM80 engine. If you have modified the engine, you may need to adjust the fuel mixture.
- If the engine is cold, use a richer mixture (more oil) of 25:1.
- If the engine is very hot, use a leaner mixture (less oil) of 32:1.
