1. Place the motorcycle on a level surface.
2. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to warm up the oil.
3. Stop the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to settle.
4. Remove the oil level plug located on the left side of the engine, behind the clutch lever.
5. Check the oil level. It should be between the "F" and "A" marks on the oil level dipstick.
6. If the oil level is low, add oil through the oil filler cap located on the top of the engine.
7. Replace the oil level plug and oil filler cap.
The crankcase holds approximately 1.25 liters (1.3 U.S. quarts) of oil.
