How do you remove a stuck breather gear from Harley engine?

To remove a stuck breather gear from a Harley engine, you will need the following tools:

* 3/8-inch drive ratchet

* 3/8-inch drive extension

* 10mm socket

* 12mm socket

* 14mm socket

* 17mm socket

* Small flat-head screwdriver

* Hammer

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the right side cover.

3. Locate the breather gear. It is located on the top of the cam cover, behind the oil pump.

4. Use the 10mm socket to loosen the two bolts that hold the breather gear in place.

5. Use the 12mm socket to remove the bolt that holds the oil pump in place.

6. Pull the oil pump out of the way.

7. Use the 14mm socket to remove the nut that holds the breather gear in place.

8. If the breather gear does not come off easily, use the small flat-head screwdriver to pry it off.

9. Be careful not to damage the camshaft or the cam cover.

10. Install the new breather gear in reverse order of removal.

11. Reconnect the battery.
