1. Park the assisting vehicle close to the Virago, but do not let the vehicles touch. The assisting vehicle should be running.
2. Connect one end of the jumper cables to the positive (+) terminal of the assisting vehicle's battery. The positive terminal is usually marked with a "+" sign or is red in color.
3. Connect the other end of the positive jumper cable to the positive (+) terminal of the Virago's battery.
4. Connect one end of the negative (-) jumper cable to the negative (-) terminal of the assisting vehicle's battery. The negative terminal is usually marked with a "-" sign or is black in color.
5. Connect the other end of the negative jumper cable to a metal surface on the Virago's engine block, away from the battery and any fuel lines.
6. Start the assisting vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. This will help charge the Virago's battery.
7. Try to start the Virago. If the Virago starts, let it run for a few minutes to charge the battery further.
8. Disconnect the jumper cables in the reverse order that you connected them.
Note: If the Virago does not start after following these steps, there may be another issue with the motorcycle, such as a bad battery or a faulty starter. In this case, you will need to have the Virago diagnosed by a qualified mechanic.
