Step 1: Determine your riding mower model number.
- The model number can usually be found on a sticker located under the seat of your mower.
- It will start with the letters "917." followed by a series of numbers.
Step 2: Visit the Craftsman website.
- Go to www.craftsman.com.
Step 3: Click on the "Support" tab.
- This is located in the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 4: Select "Riding Lawn Mowers" from the product list.
Step 5: Enter your riding lawnmower's model number in the search bar.
Step 6: Click on the "Search" button.
Step 7: Select your riding lawnmower model from the search results.
Step 8: Click on the "Downloads" tab.
Step 9: Select the "Service Manual" from the list of available downloads.
Step 10: Click on the "Download" button.
Step 11: Save the service manual to your computer.
Step 12: Open the service manual.
- You can use a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader to open the service manual.
Once you have opened the service manual, you will be able to view instructions for maintaining and repairing your Craftsman riding lawnmower.
