2. Prepare your bike. Park your bike on a level surface. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down. Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the oil filter. The oil filter is located on the right side of the engine, just below the cylinder head.
4. Place the oil drain pan under the oil filter. Make sure the pan is large enough to catch all of the oil that will drain out.
5. Loosen the oil filter. Use the wrench to loosen the oil filter. Be careful not to drop the oil filter into the oil drain pan.
6. Remove the oil filter. Once the oil filter is loose, remove it from the engine. Be careful not to spill any oil.
7. Inspect the oil filter. Check the oil filter for any damage or debris. If the oil filter is damaged, replace it with a new one.
8. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter. This will help to create a seal and prevent leaks.
9. Screw on the new oil filter. Hand-tighten the oil filter until it is snug. Do not over-tighten the oil filter.
10. Add new oil to the engine. Use the funnel to add new oil to the engine. Add the amount of oil specified in your bike's owner's manual.
11. Check the oil level. Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
13. Check for leaks. Look under the bike for any leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the oil filter or drain plug until the leak stops.
14. Dispose of the old oil and filter properly. Take the old oil and filter to a recycling center.
