2. Locate the engine block: It's the large, metal casting at the front of the engine compartment.
3. Look for a raised area or casting: The engine serial number will be stamped into a raised area or casting on the passenger side of the block, towards the front.
4. Clean the area if necessary: Dirt and grime can obscure the number.
It's a good idea to use a flashlight and a small mirror to help you see the number clearly.
