Where is the engine number on a 1965 Mustang?

The engine number on a 1965 Ford Mustang is stamped on the right-hand side (passenger side) of the engine block, near the front. It's often difficult to see without removing some components, or at least cleaning the area thoroughly. You may need a flashlight and possibly a mirror to locate it.
