These fuses provide the overall power the PCM needs to operate and control components like the purge valve. A blown fuse in this area could prevent the purge valve from functioning.
Important Note: A malfunctioning purge valve often doesn't blow a fuse. A diagnostic scan tool (OBD-II) is the best way to diagnose problems with the EVAP system, including the purge valve. A simple fuse check is a good first step, but it won't solve the problem if the valve itself is faulty or there's a wiring issue.
