The 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, like most vehicles of that era,
does not have a dedicated fuel pump shut-off switch. The fuel pump is controlled electronically and shuts off automatically when the ignition is turned off. There's no readily accessible switch to manually cut power to it.
In the event of a fuel leak or fire, your best bet is to disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. This will cut power to the entire vehicle, including the fuel pump.
