The 1994 Dodge Viper doesn't have a typical gas door release inside the car. The fuel filler door is manually opened by hand. You'll need to find a small, usually slightly recessed, latch or release mechanism on the outside of the car, near the fuel filler door itself. It's often quite subtle and may be a small lever or button. Look closely around the area of the gas filler door for a small handle or latch.
