Where is the shut off switch for fuel pump?

There isn't a single, universally located "fuel pump shut-off switch" in most vehicles. The fuel pump is typically controlled by the car's computer system, and shutting it off usually requires disabling the ignition system or disconnecting the battery.

Some vehicles *might* have an aftermarket fuel pump cutoff switch installed, but this is not a standard feature. Its location would then depend entirely on where the previous owner or installer placed it. It might be under the dash, in the engine bay, or even in the trunk.

To safely stop fuel flow in an emergency:

* Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal: This is the safest and most reliable way to stop the fuel pump from working.

* Turn off the ignition: This will usually stop the fuel pump from running.

Do not attempt to locate and disable the fuel pump directly unless you are a trained mechanic with the proper safety equipment and knowledge. Working with fuel systems is extremely dangerous. Incorrect procedures can lead to fire or injury.
