* If it's the taillights: The cargo area is illuminated by the taillights. These turn on automatically with the headlights or parking lights. Make sure your headlights or parking lights are switched on. If they aren't working, there might be a bulb out, a fuse blown, or a wiring problem.
* If it has separate bed lights: These are usually controlled by a switch, possibly located near the rear of the cab's interior, in the glove box, or even under the dash. Look for a switch labeled "Cargo Light," "Bed Light," or something similar. If you can't find a switch, consult your owner's manual.
If neither of these scenarios applies, and you're looking for additional lighting in the bed, you'll likely need to install aftermarket cargo lights.
