Which engine was used on a 1965 Corvette?

The 1965 Corvette offered three engine options:

* 327 cubic inch small-block V8: This was available in several variations, with different horsepower ratings depending on the carburetion and other modifications. Common outputs were around 300, 350, and 365 horsepower.

* 396 cubic inch big-block V8: This was a new option for 1965 and produced 425 horsepower.

There was no other engine option offered that year.
