* Engine Load: Timing changes based on throttle position and engine load.
* Engine Temperature: The computer adjusts timing based on coolant temperature.
* Specific Engine: The 1995 S-10 came with several different engines (4-cylinder, V6). Each engine will have a different timing map in its computer.
There's no single "degrees BTDC" (Before Top Dead Center) value that applies. To find the actual timing, you'd need specialized diagnostic equipment capable of reading the Engine Control Module (ECM) data. Even then, you'd see a range of values, not a fixed number.
