From the front of the car, looking into the engine compartment, you'll see the two banks of cylinders forming the "V". The cylinder heads (the parts where the spark plugs are) will be visible at the top of the engine block. You won't see individual cylinders directly, but you'll see the overall V-configuration. It's a 4.6L V8, so there are eight cylinders total, four on each side of the "V".
