Where is the fuel pump switch on a 1998 Ford Contour?

The 1998 Ford Contour doesn't have a fuel pump *switch* in the traditional sense like some older cars. The fuel pump is controlled by the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and is activated and deactivated electronically. There's no separate on/off switch you can flip. If the fuel pump isn't working, the problem lies within the PCM, the fuel pump relay, wiring, the pump itself, or potentially the inertia switch (which is a safety feature that cuts power to the pump in a collision).
