Where is the oil sending unit on a 1985 ranger 2.8?

On a 1985 Ford Ranger with the 2.8L V6 engine, the oil pressure sending unit is located on the passenger side (right side) of the engine block. It's usually near the front of the block, fairly low down, and will have a single wire connected to it. It's a relatively small unit. You'll likely need to look closely and perhaps use a flashlight to see it clearly.
