While both might be found in similar GM vehicles, the output shaft length and possibly the yoke style on the transmission are different. The driveshaft needs to precisely match the transmission's output shaft to connect correctly. Using the wrong driveshaft will result in a dangerous and likely non-functional drivetrain. You'll need a driveshaft specifically designed for a TH400 transmission.
