On a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi (with the 3.8L Supercharged engine), the crankshaft position sensor (CKP sensor) is typically located on the
passenger side of the engine block, near the
bottom of the engine,
behind the harmonic balancer (the large pulley at the front of the crankshaft). You'll likely need to get underneath the car to see it clearly.
Because of its location, access can be somewhat difficult. You might need to remove some components to get a good view and access for replacement. A repair manual specific to your year and model is highly recommended to avoid damaging anything during the process.
