1984 corvette diagram of spark plug order?

A 1984 Corvette's firing order depends on the engine it has. There were two common engines in that year: the L83 (5.7L) and the L69 (5.7L, tuned port injection). They have *different* firing orders.

You must know which engine your Corvette has to get the correct firing order. The easiest way to find this out is to check your vehicle identification number (VIN) or look for engine codes on the engine itself.

Once you know the engine, here are the firing orders:

* L83 (5.7L, carburetor): 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

* L69 (5.7L, tuned port injection): 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 (Interestingly, it's the same as the L83.)

Important Note: While the firing order is crucial, always consult a reputable repair manual specific to your 1984 Corvette's engine for accurate information and diagrams. These manuals will also show the spark plug locations in the engine bay. A diagram alone isn't sufficient without knowing the specific engine type.
