Where is camshaft position sensor at on a f 350 ford with 7.3L diesel?

On a Ford F-350 with a 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine, the camshaft position sensor (CMP sensor) is located on the passenger side (right side) of the engine, on the top of the valve cover. It's usually near the front of the valve cover, but its exact position might vary slightly depending on the year of the truck. You'll likely see a single-wire connector attached to it.
